In this March update, we share with you these recent additions to Stemma:
• See why a search result is being displayed
One of the most commonly requested features from our customers has been to display the reason why a given search result is being returned (for example, due to a matching table name, table description, column name, or something else). We listened and now Stemma is updated to show more context for why you're seeing the results being displayed!

• Conduct a single search for multiple asset types
Stemma now allows you to combine multiple asset types within a single search, letting you to find the table or dashboard you need even faster. This comes with enhanced filtering capabilities that allows you to easily build complex queries to narrow your search results to the specific items you need.
• MySQL integration
We’ve launched our official integration with MySQL, one of the leading open source relational databases. Stemma automatically captures both the underlying metadata as well as descriptive statistics for your MySQL database.
• Enhanced BigQuery preview authentication
Stemma now deploys more robust authentication when your users preview data in BigQuery by leveraging the underlying roles and permissions within Google Cloud to determine whether users can see preview data.
